Loving On A Friday

Happy Friday my loves! Thank you all so much for your sweet comments on my last post. They truly light up my day. Here’s some current favorites for y’all and have a lovely weekend!

A laditude and longitude tattoo…I’m thinking the coordinates for where J and I met? He gets the laditude, I get the longitude. Also, let it be said that I thought I had come up with this terribly original idea, but then Google, that dream killer, proved me wrong. I still think it’s pretty cool :)

A snap from Emerson Fry’s new collection. I aspire to dress like this everyday. Also, I love the models makeup… it looks like she just took a brisk Fall walk.

This reminds me that I desperately need to re-style my living room….and I would like it to have this vibe, please.

My hubs just got a lat and long tat last year; he always tells people it is the coordinates for buried treasure. But in reality it is the coordinates to the first house we built (ourselves) and then tried to sell at the beginning to 2008 and then finally sold in 2011! Clearly some serious life-lessons have been learned there…but I LOVE the idea of sharing the coordinates! Clever girl — google or not!

(Oh, and no doubt on the EM Fry wardrobe — every. frickin’. day.)

BELIEVES: “A human being is part of the whole, called by us ‘Universe,’ a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation, and a foundation for inner security.” Albert Einstein “The important thing is not to think much but to love much and so do that which best stirs you to love.” St. Teresa of Avila “People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances without own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.” Joseph Campbell
