“We were together. I forget the rest.”

{coveting: the greedy guts edition}

i have been fiendishly bookmarking all kinds of things lately, kittens. due to an ice storm i’ve been basically housebound for oh so many days now, so i’ll just choose to believe that’s what accounts for my greediness…

custom, calligraphy valentine from hello handmade. would you die? i would d-i-e.

spare and warm. my favorite. via decor addict. {this blog is new to me and it’s fab; stop by.}

stop with the emersonmade, you say? well no. i can’t! dying over this mod dress and petite romance set. both are definitely my idea of sexy and chic. {thinking… the little top worn under a blazer? peeking out a bit?}

a book i just plain need: details: a stylist’s secrets to creating stylish interiors. since this is what i {think} i’ve decided i’d like to do, yes, i think i must get this book. {images here}

this whole getup, especially that scarf. via honey kennedy.

this kitchen, especially the glossy black floors is spectacular. but my eye went right to that penguin books poster in the background… {here}

yet another dainty, perfect ring. i’ll never take it off…. promise.

{catbird nyc}.

this photograph. i mean, really? gahhh. the cuteness is beyond. {here}

for some reason i have been obsessing about this j.crew t-shirt since i saw it. i  don’t surf. and, it is a man’s tee. but i love it! and let’s face it, if your man stole, he’d look pretty dang hot.

BELIEVES: “A human being is part of the whole, called by us ‘Universe,’ a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation, and a foundation for inner security.” Albert Einstein “The important thing is not to think much but to love much and so do that which best stirs you to love.” St. Teresa of Avila “People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances without own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.” Joseph Campbell
