“We were together. I forget the rest.”

some pins, a tattoo and a party.

so. i have been spending quite a bit of time over on pinterest. like, tons. you should join me! in the meantime, here’s a few things that i’ve been loving…

gold wishbone, via jora’s pinterest. one for our mantle, and a couple for holiday gifts. jayson home and garden.

some gorgeous home bar inspiration. i love the candles. via pennyweight’s pinterest.

swoopy, deep blue… perfection by james narse. i pinned this, but forgive me, i can’t recall the original source.

and lastly, as far as pinterest goes, just some sweet inspiration. via walking around’s pinterest.

do you read into the gloss? if you don’t, and you like beauty and things like peeking into the beauty cabinet’s of glamorous women, you should. while perusing the site the other day, i came across this lovely lady being profiled. moreover, her tattoo… it’s a “string” that spells out her husband’s name on the underside. i doubt i will end up doing it… but i’m tempted. luckily the Gent’s name only has four letters, should i give in to this urge ;)

we’ve decided to have a holiday party. i have no idea when, or what we’ll serve.. but i’ve decided on an outfit! shocking, no? this outfit from zara perfectly embodies my love of high-low. sequins and cableknit and heels. done.

BELIEVES: “A human being is part of the whole, called by us ‘Universe,’ a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation, and a foundation for inner security.” Albert Einstein “The important thing is not to think much but to love much and so do that which best stirs you to love.” St. Teresa of Avila “People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances without own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.” Joseph Campbell
